My name is Adriana Rivas. I'm a brazilian and spanish designer, born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro and graduated from ESDI, UERJ ('Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro') in 2005, in product and graphic design.
From october/ 2005 to september/ 2008, I worked at Museu da Vida, a science museum related to Fiocruz, an important brazilian institution of health service, where I developed a vast work in the area of spreading science, like animations and games.
From october/ 2008 to july/ 2009, I had the pleasure to receive a scholarship by Aecid (Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional y Desarrollo), when I studied the Master Digital Media Design (post graduation in interaction design and multimedia), at ELISAVA Escola de Disseny - Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain.
My return to Brazil, in august/2009, was marked by the stimulating work at MBA Cultural. In that studio, I worked in so many important interactive exhibition projects.
With the goal of learning and gaining experience about another area of Design, in may/2011, I started to work at GrevyConti Design+ Comunicação, where I developed signalization and graphic projects.
As one of my passions is the interaction design, I decided to course a Master about Development of Applications to Mobile Devices. My other passion? Traveling. So I moved from Rio to Madrid. Please, feel free to contact me for further information.
